Steve Bequette and Erik Garrett are officially seeking a new bass player to pick up where the immortal Trey Guzman has left off. We will be auditioning bass players over the next month and hope to have our 3rd and possibly 4th member in place by the release of our next CD (multi faceted guitarist/vocalist/pianists/songwriters are welcome).
We request any potential candidates to be extremely professional and honestly interested in a career in music and songwriting. Please no ‘rock star’ attitude and no substance abuse. Moderation is the key.
We write in the vein of Brit Rock/Pop and sometimes leans more towards Steely Dan. We cover Rosanna and Cherub Rock.
We belong to ASCAP, have legal representation and are actively shopping to the industry. We also have a marketing team that takes their job very seriously so if you have a problem with art direction and image consultation this probably isn’t the project for you. (we’re not talking about makeup and hairspray, just a consistent branding that is required for good presentation).
This band is as much business as it is music. A balance of these is required for a good fit. The will to succeed is a must.
Please contact Steve at 314-781-5369 or via email if you are interested in scheduling an audition. Our web site is www.stevebequette.com with songs available to download.
Thanks for taking the time to check us out.

from Shane Cornell:
I'm working with a guy that's starting up a weekly entertainment information tv show. He's planning on having it start airing the end of Feb/ beginning of march. I've been trying to work in the St.Louis Music scene. It would be a great way for STL artist to get new fans through a medium typically unreachable by bands. At this point he asked me if their we're any St.Louis Bands with video's on DVD. He only wants high quality footage. He's just wanting clips from different video's to include in the opening of the tv show. There's no compensation for use other than the free airplay and a thankyou with band name. If any of my RHG brothers and sisters have something they'd like to submit for review have them e-mail me.

Thanks Again

We are looking for a dynamic person that has the pipes and stage presence to be a center point for a band with huge musical talent.
You can be male or female not both though, we have all the equipment you need.
Our sound is something of melodic new rock meets slipknot, mudvayne intensity.
All members of the band have jobs and play on pro equipment.
We are not looking for a part timer. We want to have weekend gigs out of town and play once every 2 months in STL.
Please no screamers or death metal growls
An occasional scream is ok but must have tremendous vocals
Attitudes are also checked at the door, if you can't take a joke or constructive criticism then you need not apply.
please direct all phone calls and e-mails to J.C.

Wydown is looking for a drummer who likes to use the kit for a variety of sounds, such as, but not limited to the drummers of radiohead, interpol, muse, wilco, modest mouse, the beatles and coldplay. Best thing to do is check out our most recent recordings at www.purevolume.com/wydown. These songs are just a taste our repertoire, so even better thing to do is see us live - show schedule at www.wydown.com. You don't have to be as technical as the original drummer, in fact we may even want someone who is a bit more simplified, as we look to refine our sound. If you're interested or know anyone that might be, contact Nate at nate@wydown.com.

Berk has begun looking for a new guitar player, We would perfer someone who can do both the original band and the cover band ( mostly 80's new wave) any interested parties should check out the website at www.berkmusic.net or can email me for more info @ discobass@yahoo.com
THANKS
Doug
