LaPush:
LAPUSH have signed with 456. The label is owned by Jon Rifkind (former Loud Records co-founder) and Carson Daly (Last Call, MTV) and is distributed through Fontana/Universal. The band's debut album, "Someplace Closer To Here", is due in stores June 7. Preview clips and full track listing from the new record on the 'music' page.
The Adored:
...has a deal! According to Brian Roach of The Adored: "We just finished our deal with Columbia, wanted to let you know that we'll probably be starting our record later this year and we'll get you some music as soon as we there's new stuff." I will make sure I keep you updated.
As of the new year, Brian wrote:
After we did our deal, we immediately started working on some new material to fill out the record. We've selected a producer (Gggarth Richardson - Rage Against the Machine, Chevelle, Future Leaders of the World) we're in Vancouver, BC to record with Gggarth in his studio up there. We're really fired up and the new stuff is super exciting. Can't wait to get it recorded. Anyway - we'll be gone for a couple of months, so we won't be playing any shows until the early spring. SXSW in March!
Ghetto Prenup:
...The Lab...
Ghetto Prenup is kaput. However, cohesive Ghetto members Kevin Barry (singer/songwriter/guitarist) and Jeff Church (bassist) have formed The Lab with drummer Matt Hickenbotham and guitarist/producer Jon Armstrong. You may recognize the latter pair from the band Colony or The Bellheads. The Lab’s recording, merchandise, and website are on the way.....
Ludo:
...have a new video for their song "Hum Along" and the video is on rotation on FUSE at: http://www.fuse.tv .
